So, I tried one last time to debug the issue below on my new laptop, and when I tried starting up Lightworks again, it actually started without any issues! I put in my activation key (same one I put on the old laptop), and Lightworks started up fine! I was glad it was working, but was bummed because my older laptop has a lower screen resolution, and wouldn't be very good for video editing. However, just today I tried installing Lightworks v11.0.3 on an older laptop, was able to install and activate with one of my activation keys, and start the application. Some people suggested that the issue may have been an out of date graphics driver, or a messed up activation key, but neither of these issues seemed to be a valid culprit. I ran into this same issue when trying to install Lightworks v11.0.3, and wasn't able to find a solution anywhere.
